March 17,2003
1. CALL TO ORDER: Called to order at 5:05 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: BASTIAN, SEDLACEK, GUERBER, NORDSTROM. A
quorum is present.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION:
A. Personnel Issue: I.C. § 67-2345(A)
Sedlacek moves to go into executive session per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (a) to
discuss personnel issues. Seconded by Guerber. Sedlacek AYE; Bastian AYE;
Guerber AYE; Nordstrom AYE. MOTION CARRIES.
Council enters executive session.
Council leaves executive session.
Mayor recommends they confirm Ronald J. Baker as library director with a salary of
$61,300, a relocation allotment of not more than $2500, and with one week leave already
accrued, and establish him at grade level 13. Mr. Baker will stay at that level through this
fiscal year and the next.
Bastian moves to support the Mayor in appointing Ronald J. Baker as the new
Library Director for the City of Eagle with a salary of $61,300 per year with one
week annual leave already accrued and up to $2,500 reimbursement for relocation
and moving costs upon presentation of receipts; that we establish his job at Grade
13 which will continue through the remainder of this fiscal year and the 2004 fiscal
year. Seconded by Guerber. Bastian: AYE; Sedlacek: AYE; Guerber: AYE;
Nordstrom: AYE: ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIES..................

Nordstrom reviews his notes for Tuesday's presentation.
