MEETING MINUTES
July 13,2023 3:00 PM
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pierce calls the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: GINDLESPERGER, PIKE, BAUN, RUSSELL. A quorum is
present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Pierce leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. ADDITIONS.DELETIONS OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. ACTION ITEM.- Resolution 23-20-Amending the Minimum Sales Price of
Declared Surplus Personal Property: A Resolution of the City Of Eagle, Idaho
Amending the Declared Minimum Sales Price; of Declared Surplus Personal Property;
Authorizing the City Clerk to Publish Notice and Providing an Effective Date. The
surplus personal property is identified as a House located at 8285 West Equest Lane
Eagle Idaho. (VV)
Buan moves to approve action item Resolution 53-20 Amending the Minimum
Sales Price of Declared Surplus Personal Property for a minimum sales price of
$20,000. Seconded by Gindlesperger.Discussion. Baun amends his motion to
state Resolution 23-20. Seconded by Gindlesperger.GINDLESPERGER AYE;
PIKE AYE; BAUN AYE; RUSSELL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
B. ACTIONITEM.- Resolution 23-21 Amendine the Minimum Sales Price of Declared
Surplus Personal Property: A Resolution of the City of Eagle, Idaho Amending the
Declared Minimum Sales Price of Declared Surplus Personal Property;Authorizing
the City Clerk to Publish Notice and Providing an Effective Date. Surplus personal
property is identified as a Garage located at 8285 West Equest Lane Eagle Idaho.

Pike moves to approve action item Resolution 23-21 amending the minimum
sales price of declared surplus personal property to$10,000. Seconded by
Russell.GINDLESPERGER AYE; PIKE AYE; BAUN AYE; RUSSELL
AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. Review of Executive Budget,Kellie Rekow
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Treasurer Rekow reviews the Executive Budget,General Fund Budget and the review summary
of a tentative budget. The general budget remained the exact same bottom line. The Executive
budget increased by $20,400. Mayor suggests taking the $20,400 funds from the reserves.
Mayor Pierce states for the record that items 6A, 6B and 6C were just covered by the Treasurer.

C. Review Summary,Tentative Budget Total$53,032,982
Mayor Pierce expresses the importance of the CIP and how beneficial it is and how well it is
working.
D.ACTIONITEM.• Adopt a Tentative Budget for Publication
Baun makes a motion to adopt action item 6D,a tentative budget in the amount of
$52,012,582.00. Seconded by Russell.Discussion.This is a tentative budget,and a Public
Hearing will be held on August 8.This amount also includes the increase of the Ada County
Sheriffs Office request.GINDLESPERGER AYE; PIKE AYE; BAUN AYE; RUSSELL
AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
7. ADJOURNMENT:
Gindlesperger moves to adjourn. Seconded by Baun. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
Hearing no further business,the Council meeting was adjourned.
