Resolution - 2023 - 23-20 - 8285 W Equest Lane (House) - Amending Declared Minimum Sales Price Of Declared Surplus Personal Property - 07/13/2023 RESOLUTION NO.23-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO AMENDING THE DECLARED MINIMUM SALES PRICE; OF DECLARED SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Eagle ("City") acquired a House as part of the City's acquisition of real property located at 8285 W. Equest Lane, Eagle, Idaho 83616; and WHEREAS, on May 9, 2023, the City Council approved Resolution 23-14 declaring the house located at 8285 W. Equest Lane,Eagle, Idaho 83616 as surplus personal property; and WHEREAS, the originally established minimum bid price reflected a value compatible with Ada County Assessor records, it did not consider costs the bidder would incur associated with removal, relocation and placement of the structure; and WHEREAS, the City desires to establish a minimum bid to generate competitive bidders and ; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Eagle, Idaho,that: Section 1: The City Council affirms that the House, located at 8285 W. Equest Lane, Eagle, is deemed surplus personal property as approved with Resolution 23-14, and should be offered for sale to the public at large and sold to the highest responsible bidder. Section 2: The City Council declares the minimum bid price for House to be$20,000. Section 3: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to publish a Notice of Public Auction in the official newspaper of the City at least two(2)weeks prior to the scheduled auction. Section 4: That the Notice of Public Auction shall be in substantially the same form as found in Exhibit A attached to this Resolution. Section 5: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval. Adopted and approved by the Eagle City Council on this 13 day of July 2023. A description of personal property is as follows: House approximately 2,358 square feet, located at 8285 W. Equest Lane,Eagle, Idaho The House will be sold AS IS, without warranty. Winning bidder is solely responsible for all transportation costs and arrangements associated with the removal of the House from the real property. Removal of the House shall occur thirty within (30) days after auction, unless otherwise negotiated. The winning bidder shall remit payment if full, to the City of Eagle within five (5) working days of the award, failure to do so will result in the bid being awarded to the next highest bidder. . Public Auction Information Minimum Bid Price: $20,000. Site visit: A site visit to view the House will be held at (time) , on (date), 2023.
