Minutes - 2023 - City Council - 06/13/2023 - RegularEAGLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES June 13, 2023 1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pierce calls the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: PIKE, BAUN, RUSSELL. Absent: GINDLESPERGER, A quorum is present. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: 4. ADDITIONS. DELETIONS OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA: 5. REPORTS: A. Mayor and Council: Pike reports on the Eagle Sewer District meeting, reviewing statistics and current flows for the District. B. Department Supervisor: Planner III, Williams reports on flows in the Boise River, they anticipate those dropping in the next few weeks. Director of Long -Range Planning and Projects, Nichoel Baird Spencer, states that ACHD has indicated that they plan on going out for bid on the State and Eagle Road intersection project in January of 2024. Mayor Pierce states that the City will begin providing services at the senior center including Meals on Wheels beginning Thursday. C. Eagle Police Department: No report D. City Attorney: No report 6. PUBLIC COMMENT 1: This time is reserved for the public to address their elected officials regarding concerns or comments they would like to provide to the City Council regarding subjects not on the agenda. At times, the City Council may seek comments/opinions regarding specific City matters during this allotted time. This is not the time slot to give formal testimony on a public hearing matter, land use application, or comment on a pending application or proposal. Out of courtesy for all who wish to speak, the City Council requests each speaker limit their comments to three (3) minutes. No one chooses to speak. 7. State St (city owned property) by MOW to provide senior meal services for the senior citizens of the Eagle area under the Older Americans Act Federal Senior Meals Program (Senior Meals). The first is Item II.6 should read "...MOW will provide noon meals at the CITY on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday..." adding Monday. Also in Item II. 7 changed to reflect three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). With those corrections she is in favor of the agreement. CU-02-23 - Building Height Exception and Waivers of Front Setback and Accessory Dwelling Unit Maximum Square Footage - Greg Andersen: Greg Anderson, represented by Jay Gibbons, is requesting conditional use permit approval for an accessory building height exception to 32-feet, 1.5-inches, waiver of the accessory dwelling unit (ADU) maximum square footage, and a front setback waiver.
