SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
June 15,2023
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pierce calls the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: GINDLESPERGER, PIKE, BAUN, RUSSELL. A quorum is
present.

This presentation will be continued to the June 29, 2023 meeting.
6. FY 23/24 BUDGET PRESENTATION:
A. Recreation Department, Special Events, Eagle Fun Days—Brian Allen
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Recreation Director, Brian Allen reviews the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023/2024 and
makes himself available for questions.
Discussion.
B. Public Works Department, Eric Ziegenfuss
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Public Works Director,Eric Ziegenfuss reviews the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023/2024
and makes himself available for questions. Discussion.
C. Fiber Fund, Eric Ziegenfuss
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Public Works Director,Eric Ziegenfuss reviews the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023/2024
and makes himself available for questions. Discussion.
D. Executive, Tracy E. Osborn
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
City Clerk, Tracy Osborn reviews the proposed budget for fiscal year 2023/2024 and makes
himself available for questions. The City Clerk requests Council direction regarding any
changes to Mayor and Council compensation and offering of benefits that may be desired.
Changes need to be adopted by an ordinance and incorporated into the next years budget.

Discussion. Baun requests that increases in align with market be calculated and brought
forward for consideration. Discussion regarding benefit offerings.

Baun moves to adjourn. Seconded by Gindlesperger. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
