SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
May 4,2023
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pierce calls the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: GINDLESPERGER, PIKE, BAUN, RUSSELL. All
present. A quorum is present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Pierce leads the pledge of allegiance.
4. ADDITIONS,DELETIONS OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA:
A. City Staff requests.: Deputy Clerk Horton requests that item 4A—Resolution 23-11be
moved to the May 23, 2023 City Council meeting as item was not noticed on the agenda
as action item.
Baun moves to move agenda item 4A- Resolution 23-11 to the May 23, 2023, City
Council meeting. Seconded by Gindlesperger. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
B. Mayor or City Council requests.None
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Resolution 23-11 City of Eagle Authorized Bank Signatures: A Resolution
of the City of Eagle authorizing signatures including facsimile signatures for
bank services on behalf of the City of Eagle. (KR)
This item will be heard at the May 23, 2023, city council meeting.
2. OLD BUSINESS:
A. City of Eagle Water System Capitalization (Cap) Fees: Staff is requesting
Council direction regarding Water Capitalization Fees. This updated fee will
replace the current Storage and Trunk Line Fee (STL) and Water Construction
Equivalency Fee (WCE). Staff will present revisions to the information
presented at the Council Work Session held on November 17, 2022. (KA)
Mike Davis, HECO engineering follow up from November work session regarding water
capitalization fees. Discussion on moving forward for future public hearing. Mayor and
City Council would like to see this item on an agenda again once the resolution and
ordinance are ready for review.
3. ADJOURNMENT:
Gindlesperger moves to adjourn. Seconded by Baun. ALL AYE...MOTION
CARRIES
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting was adjourned at 3:47 pm.
