MINUTES

1. CALL TO ORDER: 6:01 pm

4. ALL CONSENT ITEMS ARE ACTION ITEMS. CONSENT AGENDA:
Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are acted on with one motion.There will be no separate
discussion on these items unless an Eagle Public Library Board of Trustees member,City Staff,or a citizen
requests an item to be removed from the Consent Agenda for discussion. Items removed from the Consent
Agenda will be placed on the Regular Agenda in a sequence determined by the Rules of Order.
Any item on the Consent Agenda that contains written recommendations from the City of Eagle shall be adopted
as part of the Eagle Public Library's Board of Trustees Agenda approval motion unless specifically stated
otherwise.

c. Mobile Hotspots Policy Review.This policy was adopted on September 12,2016,and was reviewed and
reaffirmed March 16,2022.
d. Guest Privacy Policy Review.This policy was adopted on September 12,2016,and was reviewed and reaffirmed
February 16,2022.
e. Hoopla Digital Media Agreement.Approval for recommendation to City Council for approval of updated
subscription agreement for Midwest Tape's hoopla Digital Media Platform.

5. PUBLIC COMMENT:This time is reserved for the public to address the Eagle Public Library Board of Trustees
regarding concerns or comments they would like to provide to the Board regarding subjects not on the agenda. This is
not the time slot to give formal testimony on a new business item or pending application or proposal.Out of courtesy
for all who wish to speak,the Board requests each speaker limit their comments to three(3)minutes.
6. REPORTS
a. Staff:Steve Bumgarner
L This is the fifth month in a row of robust circulations better than years before.The Family Place
Space is fully operational(waiting on a few furnishings,carpet and some other items).The library
staff has received sparkling reviews and is taking registration for the Stay&Play classes that will
host 20-25 families this spring.
b. Friends of the Eagle Public Library:Betty Miller
i. Planning for the May book sale is going great.The community is donating so many wonderful
books.Thank you to the community and the board for all the support.
C. Eagle Public Library Foundation:Kirsten Lewis
i. The Foundation's application for 501c3 status is still pending.
d. Board Members
i. Christina Brackney attended the Friends of the Eagle Public Library meeting.
