LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
This addendum is entered into Mday 2018 by and
between the City of Eagle (hereinafter re0red to as "Eagle"), and Trautman Lawn &
Landscape Company, (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor"), for the purpose of amending and
extending an Agreement for City Landscape Maintenance dated September 12, 2017.
Whereas, on September 12, 2017, the City of Eagle and Trautman Lawn and Landscape
Company entered into an agreement with Trautman Lawn & Landscape Company to provide
landscape maintenance and
Whereas, the City of Eagle and Trautman Lawn & Landscape Company desire to modify
certain terms of the agreement related to the amount of payment; and
Whereas, the City of Eagle and Trautman Lawn & Landscape desire to extend the
agreement as modified for an additional one (1) year term.
Now, therefore, in consideration of the foregoing, t h e C i t y o f Eagle and Trautman Lawn
& Landscape Company agree to amend the Agreement for landscape maintenance services
dated September 12, 2017 as follows:
Section 1 is hereby modified to read as follows:
1. Statement of Work: The amendments listed in Exhibit A attached hereto, shall be
incorporated into the Statement of Work identified in the original agreement dated
September 12, 2017.
Section 2 of the Agreement is hereby modified to read as follows:
2. Amount of Contract: In an amount, not to exceed $266,400.00 per fiscal year.
Section 3 of the Agreement is hereby modified to read as follows:
3. Term of Contract: The Services to be performed under this Agreement shall
commence on October 1, 2018 and shall terminate on September 30, 2019, unless
sooner terminates as herein provided.
4. Except as modified by this Addendum, the original Agreement for City Landscape
Maintenance between the City of Eagle and Trautman Lawn & Landscape Company dated
September 12, 2017 shall remain in full force and effect.
IT IS SO AGREED.

SCOPE OF WORK SPECIFICATIONS
MOWING: Turf areas will be mowed on a weekly basis from mid-March until early November
(Approx. 33 weeks). Contractor will remove grass clippings off site and will perform a weekly litter
pickup during the mowing services.
EDGING & TFJMMING: Turf areas will be edged and trimmed throughout the season to acquire and
maintain a neat appearance.
PRE -EMERGENT WEED CONTROL: Pre -emergent weed control chemicals are applied to aid in the
control of weeds in the planting beds. Pre -emergent weed control will not be applied in beds that will
contain annual bedding plants.
SPRING CLEANUP: A cleanup of leaves and debris from the winter months. This service includes
edging of planting beds and tree/shrub pruning as needed. Trees over 15' in height are not in the base
contract pricing.
TREE & SHRUB CARE: Contractor performs a basic tree care program that includes, dormant oil,
insect control and deep -root fertilization.
FERTILIZATION OF TURF: Contractor performs 4 applications of fertilizer to turf areas. These
applications begin in March and are performed throughout the growing season.
WEED CONTROL IN TURF: Pre and post emergent weed control products are applied to the turf to
control broadleaf weeds.
INSECT CONTROL IN TURF: Insect control is applied for billbugs and other turf damaging insects.
VEGETATION CONTROL: Weed control applications throughout the season to control unwanted
vegetation around fence lines, posts, and right of way areas.
IRRIGATION MAINTENANCE: Activation and programming of the irrigation system in the spring as
soon as water becomes available and weather permitting. Throughout the growing season the
contractor will monitor and adjust irrigation controllers and sprinkler heads as needed. During the fall
the contractor will winterize the irrigation systems. All splash pads, fountains and drinking fountains
are billed above base and aren't included in base contract pricing. All repairs performed on the
irrigation system are billed separately on a time and material basis. Computerized irrigation
management is currently being done by City employees and isn't included in the base contract pricing.
MID SEASON SHRUB TRIMMING: Trimming of shrubs during the summer months may be required
and is done as needed.
FESCUE MAINTENANCE: Mowing / Trimming of fescue grasses 2 times per season as needed.
FALL CLEANUP: A cleanup of leaves and debris. This service will include tree and shrub pruning as
needed.
AERATION OF TURF: Core aeration of turf areas as needed.
VOLE & GOPHER CONTROL: Performed as needed and is billed above the base contract.
