A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, AMENDING THE 2015
EAGLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION MAP FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 850 E. WILLIAMSON LANE; AFFIRMING THAT PRESCRIBED
NOTICE AND HEARING REQUIREMENTS WERE MET IN ACCORDANCE WITH TITLE 67,
CHAPTER 65, IDAHO CODE AND THE EAGLE CITY CODE; AND PROVIDNG AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, on February 10, 2015, the Eagle City Council passed Resolution #15-01 repealing all
previous plans and adopting the 2015 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, on January 12, 2016, the Eagle City Council passed resolution #16-03 amending the
2015 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map;
WHEREAS, on February 14, 2017, the Eagle City Council passed resolution #17-05 amending the
2015 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, Section 67-6509(b) of the Idaho Code, provides that the City Council may adopt,
amend or repeal a Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, The City Council hereby finds that the proposed amendment to the 2015
Comprehensive Plan complies with the provisions of Section 67-6508 of the Idaho Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle entered into an Area of Impact Transfer Agreement on October 11,
2016, with Boise City to remove the above referenced property from Boise City's Comprehensive Plan
and include it into the City of Eagle's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, after providing legal notice, transmitting notice to other jurisdictions, agencies, and
entities, holding public hearings of the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council, the City
Council, on October 11, 2016, amended the 2015 Future Land Use Map to include 88.24 acres located
850 E. Williamson Lane in the City's Comprehensive Plan and to designate 8.17 -acres as "Floodway" and
80.07 -acres as "Residential Two" as identified on Exhibit A, attached hereto, and identified as
application No. CPA -02-15/ RZ-05-15/CU-02-15/PPUD-01-15/PP-03-15.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, Ada
County, Idaho, as follows:
Section 1: The Eagle City Council hereby amends the 2015 Eagle Comprehensive Plan and
Future Land Use Designation Map as approved by the Council at its October 11, 2016, meeting.
Section 2: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
approval.
