A. Friends of the Library Report:
a. No report
B. Director's report:
a. July busiest month so far with 55,000 items borrowed.
b. Class attendance up.
c. Family night on August 10th was a great success
d. Programming will be changing as school starts.
C. Library Liaison / City Hall Reports (Council Member Mitchell):
a. No report
7. OLD BUSINESS:
A. Future Planning for Public Library service in Avimor:
a. Nichoel Baird Spencer from the City, presented information on Avimor and
library statistics. At this point, there is no official application from Avimor, but
the Board needs to explore the expansion of the library in general to
accommodate the rapid population growth in Eagle and an Avimor application
when that occurs.
b. The Board will review the materials provided and will schedule a working session
in September to discuss library expansion.
B. FY 2018-2019 Budget:
a. Budget approved. This means fines can be eliminated.
8. NEW BUSINESS
A. Surplus Property: Request for Board approval to submit to the City Clerk a list of items
to be submitted for disposition.
