1. CALL TO ORDER- Board President Dover called the meeting to order at 5:49
2. ROLL CALL: DOVER, LODGE, SOELBERG, ROGERS- all present
3. ADDITIONS, DELETIONS OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGENDA
No modifications to agenda requested. Dover motioned to accept the agenda as written,
Soelberg seconded, unanimously carried.
4. EXECUTIVE SESSION
67-2345. Executive sessions -- When authorized. (1) An executive session at which
members of the public are excluded may be held, but only for the purposes and only in
the manner set forth in this section. The motion to go into executive session shall identify
the specific subsections of this section that authorize the executive session. There shall be
a roll call vote on the motion and the vote shall be recorded in the minutes. An executive
session shall be authorized by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the governing body. An
executive session may be held:
To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or
charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual
agent, or public school student.
Vote to enter into Executive Session at 5:51pm: Dover- aye, Lodge- aye, Rogers- aye,
Soelberg-aye
Vote to end Executive Session at 6:50pm: Dover- aye, Lodge- aye, Rogers- aye,
Soelberg-aye
5. OLD BUSINESS
A. Budget: Modification of proposed Fiscal Year 2015-16 Budget Requests, as requested by
City Council.
Overall reduction of $100,000 requested by City Council
Other reductions
o Signage, database subscriptions
o Utilities, due to lack of Sunday hours
o Internet filtering, OIT will create switches so we will not have to pay for this
through an outside vendor
o Capital items reductions
o Elimination of recruitment costs
Dover made a motion to reduce budget as outlined, Rogers provided a second, motion carried
unanimously
6. ADJOURNMENT: Board President Dover adjourned the meeting at 6:53pm.
