MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 19,- 1998
Meeting was called to order. at 6:QQ p.m— by Susan Thomas at
Eagle City Hall . Those present: Susan, Terry, Pat, Ann,
Lynn Melton_ Terri Musa arrived. later-
The minutes from the September 21, 1998 meeting were approved
as submitted.
NEW BUSINESS
1 . Ada County Sheriff representative made a presentation
regarding their request to be outstationed in the new
library building. They are looking at the Bookmobile
space. They have discussed with construction people the
feasibility of preparing that space for office use_
2 . Zonta Club would like to donate a bench and landscaping
for the courtyard area_
3. Lynn Melton reported that about 64 volunteer hours have
been logged so far. She is working on computer
acquisition for the new Technical Services Staff member.
MEETING MOVED TO LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION MEETING AT 7: 10 P.M.
LIBRARY BOARD MEETING RESUMED.
4. Library Director' s Report: New hires so far are a)- Mary
Alice in the Technical Services position b) Ivy Dehardt
as Library Assistant. Ann raised concern that Many Alice
does not have a computer with which she can begin work.
The Board agreed that Terry and Ann would work together
to acquire a Computer for Mary Alice.
