JULY 23, 1998
I. The meeting was called to order at 6:05 P.M. Present were Susan, Pat,
Terry, Terri, Shara Dene and Ann.
II. Budget:
A. A motion was made to adopt the budget of $328,044, plus or
minus $1000 to allow for math error, for 1998-99, by Terri/Pat. Notion
passed by unanimous consent.
B. On August 4, Terry and Susan will represent the library board
at the City Council budget meeting.
III. Furniture Bid:
Terry/Pat made a motion that the low bid of $10,232 for package B
from Business Interiors be accepted, and package A for 222,998.73 from Tech.
Furniture Systems be accepted. Business Interiors will be asked to delete
the four unmatching desks. Notion passed by unanimous consent.
IV. Next Meeting:
August 10, 1998 at 6:00 P.M. at City Hall.
