MAY 13, 1996
The meting was called to order by Donna at 7:00 P.M. Donna, Shara Dene,
Gary, Susan, Ann and Pat were present. Stan Bastian was absent.
Minutes of April 15, 1996 Approved by unanimous consent.
Financial Report There was no report available from City Hall
Bills Reviewed and approved for a total of $2,174.50.
Director's Report and Statistics The circulation is down from the previous
month. Audio and Video circulation is up. Kits for cleaning audio cassette
players will be made available for patrons to check out when they arrive
from Garden Valley Library in conjunction with the Audio Circuit.
Committee Reports None
Unfinished Business The budget was presented by Gary and reviewed by
the Board. Gary will have the budget into more final form and present
it to the city next month.
Eagle Fun Days float: A pickup is available and needs to be decorated
the morning of June 8th for the parade.
New Business Nbre help for the summer was discussed. Maren Purcell, a
volunteer, has expressed interest in a temporary summer position that
would pay $5.00 an hour. With the board's approval, Ann will hire her
for the position.
Meridian has issued an invitation to the Eagle Library Board to their
ground breaking ceremony for their new library on May 20, 1996 at 10:00 A.M.
