Minutes - 1995 - Eagle Public Library - 11/13/1995 - Regular MINUTES OF EAGLE LIBRARY BOARD MEETING
NOVEMBER 13, 1995
The meeting was called to order by Donna Abbott at 6:55 P.M. Gary, Susan,
Shara Dene, Pat and Ann were present.
Minutes of the October 16, 1995 meeting were approved by unanimous consent.
Financial Report: Reviewed. Susan brought up the question of the library
reserves and carry over appropriation. Some ironies are invested, the sum
is unknown. It was suggested that Stan be contacted and bring us up to date
regarding this money. Donna will do this. Gary suggested that the auditor
might be able to answer these questions.
Director's Report/Statistics: Ada County Library contract has not been
renewed for 1996. A letter to the president of Ada County Library Board
will be submitted to find out where they stand regarding this contract.
Committee Reports: None
Unfinished Business: Article in the Eagle Express regarding the library
personnel salaries increases deemed by the City Council as too high. City
Council will have a pre-council meeting on Tuesday, November 14, at 6:30 P.M.
and it was suggested that as many board members attend as possible to clear
this matter up.
New Business: A warm welcome to Susan Thomas our newest board member.
Friends: No report
Public Comments: Margie Platt was welcomed by the board. Margie and her
husband moved to Eagle recently from Ohio.
