EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF rIRUS'1't:ES
October 16, 1995
The meeting was called to order by Donna Abbott at 7:00 P. M. Gary,
Donna, Pat and Ann were present.
Minutes of September 25, E meeting were approved by unanimous consent.
Financial Report--No report ready from City
Approval of Bills--Library bills were reviewed and approved by unanimous
consent.
Director's Report/Statistics--reviewed
Committee Report--No report
Unfinished Business: Trustee Vacancy She city requested a letter .indicating
that we have recommended Susan Thomas to fill the vacancy on the library
board. The letter will place her name before the city council meeting on
October 24, 1995 for approval to the board.
Libr Cards There was discussion and the adults in the family will receive
a car , an8 the age of the child to receive a card of their own will be
determined later. Replacement of lost cards will carry a charge of $1.00.
Plastic cards are being issued as the old ones expire or as new patrons
register.
New Business: It was suggested that a new book be purchased in honor of
Liz Horn service on the library board--approved by all board members.
Ann and Janice attended an Idaho Library Association conference workshop
at Eagle High School on October 6, 1995.
