EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MAY 8, 1995
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. Gary, Liz, Pat, Donna
and Ann were present.
Minutes of the April 10, 1995 meeting were approved with the following
change: Liz submitted a 20 year library plan instead of Liz submitted an
application.
Bills passed by unanimous consent.
There were no committee reports.
The carpeting has been installed.
Ada County contract: Ann met with Vicki Rae. She wants us to give
out Ada County cards that will be issued by Eagle. We haven't received
written confirmation from Dian. According to the contract we are not
to issue cards. A written procedure is needed. Vicki will give to Dian
and she will present it to her board. The numbers need to be settled.
Budget discussion: Gary had a letter from the city about the budget.
The budget is due in July to the city. The board discussed budgeting for
a part-time sung aide and other things that the library might need.
There was no report from the Friends.
Sumner hours for library begin on May 30, 1995. The library will be closed
on Saturday during the summer and the five (5) hours on Satruday will be
put in during the week, opening at 9:00 A.M. instead of 10:00 A.M.
Signs: They still haven't been installed. Ann is trying hard to get this
completed.
Liz will check on the computer software at Boise State.
Donna will check on getting an estimate for blinds for the library.
The next meeting is June 12, 1995.
