Sept. 12, 1994
Meeting was called to order at 7pm by Liz Horn. All menders present Stan Bastain,city
council liaison was absent
Minutes of August meeting approved by unanimous consent.
Financial Report: bills stand approved by unanimous consent The budget was reviewed
and will be be close to being used up by October 1st. Our new budget for 1995 will begin
October 1st.
Director's Report: Ann will be attending meeting Wednesday. Also reported that the bean
chairs in the children's area need to be replaced badly. She would like 2-3 banana chairs
for this area and will ask the Friends of the Library if they would like to purchase them.
No committee reports.
Unfinished business: Roni Ekman will be our new cleaning person for the library. Liz has
completed the 20 yr plan for our library, copies will be made and trustees can pick up
their copies . Liz has done an excellent job and the board thanked her for all the time and
dedication that went into this plan. It was also noted that our budget passed and we now
have 2 full time persons. The Falleit system was also ordered during this last year.
New Business: Election of O$iciers is as follows: Gary Barnes Pres. Donna Abbott
Vice Pres. Shara Done Stephenson Sec. Pat Krasen whose term expired 9/30/94 will
continue to stay another term as a trustee for the library.
