May 16,1994
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Gary Barnes. Liz Horn and Pat Krasen
were absent. Stan Bastian, City Council liaison was present.
Minutes approved unanimous consent.
Financial Report: Stand approved unanimous consent.
Director"s Report. Statistics were reviewed and it was noted that a lot of people were
using the library. Critter Tales will be the summer reading program.
Committee Reports. None.
Unfinished Business. The new library sign has been put up at the front curb. Signs are
now up in front and back.
New Business. The summer hours are changed starting June 1st. The library will add
extra hours during the week and be closed on Saturday. The board discussed the up
coming budget and set up a date for a budget workshop.
Friends Report. None
Stan reported that drawings and prep work for the new library are in the making and needs
a reasonable figure on the square footage of a new library.
The next meeting for the board will be June 13th at 7:00 P.M.
