MINUTES
EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
FEBRUARY 14, 1994
Present: Liz Horn, Pat Krasen, Donna Abbott, Ann Gallinger and
City Council Liaison Stanley Bastian„
Meetingc sled to order at 7: 00 P.M. by Liz Horn.
Financial report: Bills stand approved by unanimous consent.
Ann will submit to the city the power, sewer, telephone and
gas bills when they arrive subject to board approval for council.
Seconded by Pat Krasen, passed.
Monthly statistics: Board noted circulation is up.
Committee reports: Technology Conference by Liz Horn--There is
a periodical sharing group among libraries. It costs $25. 00 per
year to belong and a fax machine is needed.
Liz Horn will see Steve euerber about our library being used as
a model study by the University of Idaho.
Unfinished Business: The contract with Ada County Library has
been lost but we still got paid. Pat Krasen will find out and
report to the board if the Ada County Highway Department has a
sign,kavailable that says 'library' and if they do, how we may
get one.
New Business: Our goal for the year is to have a library building
plan so we will be eligible for grants, L. S. C. A. (Library Services
& Construction Act) from Idaho State Library.
Friends of the Library: No report.
The next meeting will be Monday, March 21, 1994, at 7 :00 P.M.
