Minutes - 1993 - Eagle Public Library - 11/15/1993 - Regular EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
November 15, 1993 at 7:00P.M.
The meeting was called to order by President Liz Horn and all members were present.
Stan Bastian our City Council liaison was also present.
Bills and payroll approved Gary/Pat.
Under director's report/statistics : Computor parts are still coming in. Ann worked with
Diane on becoming better educated with the programs. It was was voted on that Senior
Citizens would be given a 25%discount on their library cards and non-resident would be
$31.00. Pat Krasen made the motion and it was passed unanimously by the board.
Pat Krasen reported that Costco would not be able to let us purchase books using a
purchase order etc..
Stan Bastian will look into getting us a Lotus or similar program and will report back to the
board.
Gary and Liz reported that the Teleconference was very impressive and a useful
convention.
Building Plan report was given by Liz. The library board needs to make a plan of what
it wants in regard to the library and this needs to be done by spring to qualify for grants
from the State Library. Liz also reported that the League of Womens meeting was loaded
with information and a lot of questions were ask, concerning consolidating library services.
Christmas party will be held at Liz Horn's house December 12th from 1-4PM. Ann will
do invitations.
No reports from Friends of Library. -
Next meeting will be January 10, 1994 at 7:00PM at the Eagle Public Library.
