Minutes - 1990 - Eagle Public Library - 05/14/1990 - Regular EAGLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MINUTES
May 14, 1990 Library 8:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by President Mike Covault. Present were Linda
Phillips, Kelli Blair, Chris Gaston, Pat Krasen, Ann Gallinger and Steve Hanu ons.
Minutes of the April 9, 1990 meeting were approved. MSC Chris/Kelli. Bills totaling
$2,714.94 were approved. MSC Kelli/Linda. Steve Hammon said that the Boise Sewer
Service bill was to be paid by the Library and the City would be responsible for the
sewer line replacement. Ann is to get three (3) bids for the work and turn them in
to the City.
Eagle Fun Days Breakfast was discussed and there is a sign up sheet in the Library
for shifts and duties. The OTHERS stand was discussed. West One is one of the
sponsors. Concerns were about the material selection, control of material and
monitor control and affiliation. Ann will check with the Better Business Bureau
of Boise.
There will be a Trustee' Workshop in Twin FAlls on June 16, 1990. Pat and Kelli will
be able to attend and the others will let Ann know so she can send in the reservations.
Library hours for the summer starting June 1, 1990 with closing on Saturday and adding
those 4 hours to the week days were approved by the Board. MSC Chris/Kelli.

Tuesday 12:00 - 5:00
Wednesday 12:00 - 5:00
Thursday 9:00 - 1:00
Friday 9:00 - 5:00
The summer hours that Aimee will work are: Monday, 11:00 - 7:00; Thursday, 8:30 -
12:30; and Friday, 10:00 - 5:00. A total of 18 hours.
Adopt-A-Book pamphlets were distributed door to door by the girl scouts and there will
be a table set up at the Eagle Fun Days Breakfast for Adopt A-Book.
New Business Proposal for Contracting Library Services for 1991
A proposal was submitted by Mike and discussed. Contract concerns were discussed.
They will be reviewed and each one will give an opinion at next Monday's meeting
on May 21, 1990 and ideas will be submitted.
