DER 13, 1989 LIBRARY 7:00 P.M.
Present: Mike Covault, Larry Martin, Linda Phillips, Pat Krasen and Ann
Gallinger. The meeting was called to order by Mike Covault at 7:10 P.M.
The minutes of October 16, 1989 were approved. MSC Phillips, Martin.
Librarian's Report:
Ann Gallinger presented the monthly budget report and statistics report.
At Mike Covault's request, Ann will add an additional line to the statistics
report to .show,the number of Ada County District Library Books that Eagle has
received to circulate.
Ann will write up the procedure for Ada County's books that get returned
to Ada County District Library instead of Eagle Public Library.
Bills totaling $3,408.82 were reviewed and approved for payment. MSC
Phillips, Krasen.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. President Mike Covault administered the Oath of Office to Pat Krasen.
Her tern expires September 1994.
B. Ann gave an update on the New ACFLD Contract. She is in the process
of selecting our 600. books. Ann reported on the work schedule for the person
from ACM D who will work 18 hours per week on .the following schedule:
Monday: 1:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 5 hours
Thursday: 9:00 to 1:00 4
Friday: 12:00 to 5:00 5
.Saturday: 10:00 to 2:00 4
18 hours
C. Eagle Public Library/Boise Public Library Reciprocal: Pres. Covault
signed the agreement and it is retroactive to November 1, 1989 and will be
until September'30, 1990.
D. H. P. Donation Request. Mike Covault reported that Hewlett Packard has
• granted $300.00 of:the $1,100. that Eagle Public requested for Sumer Reading and
Summer Films. Mayor Steve GUerber is presenting a request for the remainder
to U. S. West Foundation.
E. Linda Phillips presented a new Expense Spread Sheet. She will correct it
to reflect a $5,000.00 carryover (Net Cash Balance) to the 1990-91 Budget and a
per cent of budget notation.
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Eagle City Personnel Policy is being reviewed by Chris Gaston and Ann
at'this time and they will report any suggestions to the City Clerk.
B. AC 'LD.Policy and Procedures in reference to Eagle will be continued as
Old Business.
C. City Council Newsletter: Ann reported that the newsletter is being
edited by Chris Gaston to be sent to the City Council members b& '.

D. Public Service Information: Ann is preparing a display board for notices.
E. Yearly Audit Preparation: Ann will take care of the information to be
presented to Gibbons, Scott & Dean Accountants in December.
F. Thanksgiving Holiday Hours: The library will close on Friday, November 24,
and be open on Saturday, November 25, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. MSC Phillips,
Krasen. The matter of granting days off in lieu of salary increase for Ann will
be carried over as Old Business.
