July 10, 1989 Library 7:00 p.m.
The Eagle Public Library Board meeting was called to order by
President Chris Gaston at 7:00 p.m. . Present were board members:
Susan McColl, Mike Covault, Linda Phillips and Ann Gallinger,
Librarian.
1. The minutes of the June meeting were approved as written.
2. Ann presented the Librarian's report:
a) ACFLD circulation was 41% for the month of June.
b) 94 new library cards were issued.
c) Bills totalling $2,779.71 were approved,
MSC Susan, Linda.
3 . Proposals were reviewed on how to approach the ACFLD Board of
Directors in regards to next year's contract. It was agreed
to recommend that ACFLD provide books and a library aide as
an alternative to direct funding. Chris and Ann will attend
the next ACFLD board meeting.
The draft of a letter explaining ACFLD's position on not
contracting with the Eagle Library this next year was
reviewed. We decided not to mail this letter to district
patrons until after August 1, 1989.
4. First pass of the Eagle Library 1989-90 budget was reviewed.
