April 10, 1989 Library 7:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by acting President Mike Covault at 7:00 P.M.
Present were Board members: Susan McColl, Rex Hudson and Mike Covault and Ann
Gailinger, Librarian. Chris Gaston was absent.
1. The minutes of the March 13, 1989 meeting were approved as written.
2. Ann presented the Librarian's report:
a) Bills totaling S6,604.27 were approved, MSC Susan, Rex.
b) During the past month 62 new resident library cards were issued.
c) The City of Eagle has yet to approve the 1989 ACFLD funding for
the Library. As a result we can not spend that irony. This
needs immediate attention.
d) The likely loss of ACFLD funding for 1990 was reviewed. We
decided to arrange a meeting with the ACFLD Board.
3. We decided to volunteer our services to the Eagle Chamber of Commerce
for the Eagle Fun Days Breakfast. The Chamber will give the Library
half the proceeds for this help.
4. The Library has addressed all the safety issues identified during the
safety inspection. The Library now meets all of the safety codes.
5. Ann Gallinger and Pat Liechty are planning to attend the ILA/ISL Mini
Conference on April 22 at N.N.C. in Nampa.
