November 24 , 1986 7 : 00 P .M. Library
Eagle Public Library Board met November 24 , at 7 : 00 P .M. in
the Library. Meeting was called to order by President Ada
Costanzo . All Board members were present as was our Librarian ,
Ann Gallinger. Minutes of October 20 , 1986 were reviewed and
accepted.
Librarian ' s Report :
Statistics for October were reviewed. Revenues and Expenses as
presented by the City of Eagle were discussed. Bills for $309 . 26
were presented and explained. MSC Susan , Chris that the bills be
allowed.
President ' s Report :
Ada stated that she had signed and mailed our application to A. L.A.
for the free Communications Audit of the Library. Ada also reported
on the meeting with the City Council and that nothing was changed.
We read an opinion from the Attorney General ' s Office on City
Guidance over operations of the City Libraries . Our President
asked how we could best use this opinion . Susan suggested that
copies be sent to the City Attorney and to Steve Guerber. She
was authorized to do this .
Ada County Free Library District :
At their last meeting plans were made concerning the leasing of
the Bookmobile from B .P . L. There will be inquiry into location
of a Port-a-structure . There will be a meeting to address
taxation of the ACFLD in December at B .P . L.
Policy Update :
Some revision being necessary in our Policy, we worked on updating
some Articles . Several amendments and additions were recommended
and discussed before being agreed upon. MSC Chris , Glida that we
approve the policy amendments and additions as recommended. Such
changes will be noted in our Policy.
Our December meeting will be a Christmas Dessert, December 14 , at
7 : 30 P .M. We will meet at Ada ' s home .
