MINUTES
April 16, 1984
7:30 P.M.
The Eagle City Library Board met
in the Library. The meeting was

Minutes of the last meeting were read. Beverly moved we accept
the minutes. Susan seconded. Motion carried.
Librarian's Report:
Library statistics and the Quarterly Report were reviewed. It
was noted that circulation for April had increased. Interlibrary
loans are also increasing. Ann presented a bill for $16.82 to
the Book Shop. Leola moved the bill be paid. Glida seconded.
Motion passed.
Relative to the CWEP part time employee for the Library, Beverly
reported all necessary paperwork had been completed, and turned
over to the City Attorney for consideration. Ann will interview
prospective employees.
Our advertisement for a part time Summer Employee will run in the
Statesman, April 27, 28 and 29. Closing date will be May 11, 1984.
Ann will select the employee from the applications received.
The Summer Reading Program will start with registration June 4.
The theme is "Animal All Stars." No material has as yet been
received.
Beverly and Leola reported on the meeting of the Committee for
the new City Hall and Senior Citizens Center. Leola will replace
Beverly as liaison person from the Library.
Glida announced Eagle Fun Days will be June 9, 1984. There will
be the Fun Run, Parade, plus numerous activities.
Donna presented a letter of resignation to the Board. After some
discussion it was accepted with reluctance. A replacement will
be recommended to the City Council.
