MINUTES
September 1, 1982 12 : 30 P.M.
The Eagle Public Trustees meeting was called to order by President
Leola Yucis. All members present except Jeanne Covault and City
Council Representative Carol Haley.
Minutes stand approved as submitted. Donna made a motion bills in
the amount of $145. 48 be paid, seconded by Susan. Motion carried.
Statistics were reviewed by the board.
Ann attended SIRLS workshop August 20, 1982 . The next SIRLS meeting
will be on time management. Ann noted that circulation was up.
There was a Friends of the Library meeting at the Jody Lewis home
on August 9. They would like to have Carol Stiburek as project
chairman for the Bazaar this year. Members of the Friends should
be notified 10 days ahead for their annual meeting. The annual
meeting this year will be Wednesday, September 22 , 1982 at 7 : 30
at the city library. New officers will be elected.
Leola contacted Marilyn Bruneel and the library will have food
concession at the Bazaar again this year.
A letter will be submitted to the City Council for Glida Bothwell
to be reinstated on the library board. Her term has expired.
A motion was made by Glida for the unexpended salary of $185. 60
to be allocated to other areas needed in the budget. Donna seconded.
Motion carried.
New officers for the Eagle Public Trustees will be elected at the
next meeting.
Other: Meridian Library District wants to expand its boundaries.
The Eagle Library boundaries are presently the same as the City' s.
Glida will contact Mike Herman and get more information and report
back to the board. The Eagle Trustees don' t want Meridian to in-
corporate our impact area any further.
Susan will check on reapplying for a block grant again.
Meeting adjourned. The next meeting ' 11 be October 6, 1982 .
