MINUTES
March 3, 1982 12:30 P.M.
The meeting of the Eagle Public Library Trustees was called to order by
President Leola Yucis. All members were present. Carol Haley, city
council representative, was also present.
Minutes were approved as submitted. Susan McColl made a motion that the
bills in the amount of $262.74 be paid. Notion carried.
Librarian's report: Approximately 40 persons attended the library open
house. Ann will be attending SIRLS Cataloging Workshop on March 4 and 5.
Approximately eight persons from the library board and Friends of the
Library will be attending ILA in Sun Valley April 29 and 30.
Other: Budget planning will begin at our next meeting. We need to plan in
our 1983 budget a librarian retirement fund. Ann will take vacation the
week of March 22.
We reviewed an application form for part time summer e mpoyee. Applications
will be taken April 1 through April 15.
Carol Haley reported to the board that the building inspector said smoke alarms
in the library were unnecessary.
National Library Week will be April 19 through 24. Donna Abbott made the motion
that the month of April be no fine month, "seconded by Susan McColl. Notion
carried. The library board would like to have public programs Monday, Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday evenings during National Library Week. Board members will
see about setting up these activities.
