MINUTES
January 6, 1982 12:00 noon
The Eagle Public Library Board was called to order by President Leola Yucis.
All members were present except Jeanne. The minutes were accepted as sub-
mitted.
Ann reviewed statistics for December. Many new people are applying for cards.
There was discussion of raising our 2 fines to 5 per day. The friends will
have an open house on February 22 for our library. A film will be shown the
third Thursday of each month for the rest of winter.
OTHER:
A letter was read from the Mayor. Encyclopedias will be ordered right away.
The board discussed bond issues and ways of expanding services.
Susan made a motion that applications be taken now for the part time summer
library position. Notion was seconded by Donna Abbott. Motion carried.
There will be a work session January 20, 1982 at 12:00 p.m. at Leola Yucis'
home.
