LIBRARY BOARD MEETING
10 : 30 A. M. April 11, 1980
The rescheduled meeting of the Eagle Public Library
Board of Trustees was called to order on April 11 , 1980
by President Jeanne Covault. ABBOTT, BOTHWELL, McCOLL,
YUCAS were present. The minutes of March 12 , 1980 were
corrected as follows :
Page 2 , Paragraph 3 - after amount of, Add: $138. 00 .
A check for the amount of $138. 00 from SIRLS for
special needs grant request has been received and deposited.
A revolving paperback rack will be ordered from Highsmith
Library Supplies.
LIBRARIANS REPORT
Bills were presented and approved. Monthly statistics
were noted with an increase in circulation over the past
few months.
Discussion of summer CETA employee to work in library.
Ann Gallinger was hired as new librarian. • GALLINGER
will attend ISL Association in Moscow, ID. with trustee
Glida Bothwell, and officially starts her position as
librarian April 21, 1980 .
$50 . 00 donation was received from Hewlett Packard
toward the 16mm projector fund raising project. Price
quotes received from Idaho Camera and Moore' s Audio
Visual Center, Inc. in Boise, Id. averaged $950 . 00 for
the institutional cost of a Bell & Howell 16mm autoload
projector. BOTHWELL and COVAULT appointed to price
Bell & Howell projectors from other suppliers.
ABBOTT moved and YUCAS seconded to put $50 . 00
donation in a savings account under the name of "Friends
of Eagle Public Library" with authorized signatures ,
ABBOTT and COVAULT. AYE: ABBOTT, BOTHWELL, McCOLL, YUCAS.
Motion passed. Savings account will be opened. with
Farmers & Merchants State Bank in Eagle.
FUND RAISING - EAGLE FUN DAYS
Project tabled until next meeting.
