Eagle Public Library March 6, 1979
The regular meeting of the Earle Library Board of T'rusteee
utas called to order March 6, 1979, at 6:30 P. M. by President
Gli.da Bothwell. .ABBOTT and YUCAS were present. CCvixWLT and
HES` ON were excusers. The minutes of the February 7, 1979 rneeting
were approved as read.
LIBRARIANS REPORT
Statistics were discussed. ABBOTT questioned the expenditure
of $70.11 for equipment. $31.75 Maas for a platter assembly for
the IBM type-uriter, $37.00 was the charge for labor with $1.36 tax.
Eagle City Hall and Eagle Public Library should share the cost
of labor as bath typewriters were checked at the same time.
A, Metter was sent to the Eagle Parade Committee stating that
the library board would like to enter SANS Bookworm i.);R the
Eagle "tan Days Parade. The library board would also like to sell
refreshments during parade hours to raise money for our matching
needs grant. The parade committee will respond to our letter
of inquiry rafter their March 21 meeting.
Patrons have not responded with :interest to the great In-
doors Program. Interest was shown in the mini -crafts quest.i.onaire,
for a �,Dii.lting urogram and for book talks. The librarian will
make arrangements for these classes to be held in the library.
By -Laws were read and discussed. 2-6, copy will be sent to
absent members. By -Laws will be voters cn a:;.. lehe. next meeting.

Films will be shown again this year as part of the City of
