Eagle Public Library April 5 1978
The regular= meeting of the Eagle Library Board of Trueteee
was called to order by trustee Donna Abbott. Betty Morris,
Jeanne Covault, and Donne Abbott were present. Maureen Heston
and Glida Bothwell were excused. Minutes of the March 1 , 11978
meeting were approved and read.
Glida Bothwell and Glenda Willem attended the S 1 R1,S t-oorkshipp
on March 10. They signed up et the workshop to attend the ALA
conference held in Chicago during the week of June 24 to June

Valley from May 11 to May 13. Approval and funding for travel
it approved by $1 RLS Board.
The theme of the Summer Reading Program will be Star Encounters Summer
Reading. There w i l l be book marks printed with Reading Encounters of the
1st kind 2nd kind 3rd kind 4th kind and 5th kind. There will also be buttons imprinted
with I-C-U Read to hand out. A: bookl :t for each child to fill

A Ster Waro party it planned for the end of August to f {,
off the Summer Program® We will give prizes this year. As ,tc+
child finishes a "Reading Encounter", thy will be entitled
to put their name io a drawing. The winners will be drawn out
of this colleotion of names. Trustees are asked to think about

the May meeting.
