September II, 1975
The regular meeting of the Eagle Library Board was cal led to
order September II 1975 at 10:00 A. M. by Chairman Betty Morris.
Counci I Representative Doc House was absent.
Two board members, appointed by the mayor and counci I at
the September City Counci I Meeting were introduced. Prici I la
\vh i te whose te rms runs to August I: 1977 and Donna A-<J=.~fl whose

Dian Norman Regional Director of the Boise Public Library
spoke to the board on the duties of a I ibrary trustee, budgeting
and other aspects of 1 ibrary procedure.
A motion was made that a non-resident fee of $5.00 be
charged as of January I; 1975.
Library Board Meetings wi I I be held the 2nd Thursday of
each month at 10:00 A. M. at the 1 ibrary.
Mrs. White was appointed publ ic relations representative

A pol icy covering the Duties and Responsibi I ities of a
I ibrarian was drawn up by the board and a copy of this IS
recorded in the permanent minute book.

Other items discussed by the board and to be acted upon in
the future were: firewal I, painting of the I ibrary, written book
selection pol icy complaint form, addressing community groups on
I ibrary procedure information referrel, goals and objectives of
a I ibrary and that a new I ibrarian's first duties would be to
weed evaluate and find the loopholes in the present library
and present a report to the I ibrary board.
There being no further business to come before the counci I I
the meeting was adjourned at 1:00 P. M.
