LIBRARY BOARD MEETING - JANUARY 6, 1975
Present: Rowena Parks, Betty Morris, Carol Stoddard, John Smidt, Glida Bothwell.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Smidt. A general discussion of
the 1975 budget was held with the motion to approve the budget being made
by Rowena Parks and seconded by Betty Morris (see enclosure).
Betty Morris made a motion that we have a telephone extension installed at
the Library at a cost of $13.50. The motion was seconded by Carol Stoddard
and passed unanimously.
A meeting date for the next board meeting was not set. The date will be set
after the January City Council meeting.
The meeting was closed by Chairman, Smidt.

The 1974 budget was $5,000.00 and with the expenses of 1974 we had a bala~ce
of $1321.22
There was also a deposit of $63.48 made ln the checking account ,from ,book
sales, etc.
