Library Board Meeting - December 4, 1974
Present - Rowena Parks, Betty Morris, Carol Stoddard, John Smidt, Glida
Bothwell.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, John Smidt.
After a short discussion January 6, 1975 was set as the next meeting date.
The meeting will start at 8:00 p.m.
There was a general discussion of the budget for 1975 and the purpose for
the meeting on January 6, 1975 is to develop this budget for the City Council.
Carol Stoddard reported on the last regional library meeting she attended.
Carol reported that there may be monies available for our district and she
plans to do more research on this subject and report back to the board. At
this time Betty Morris was selected as the alternate member to the Regional
Library Committee.
Carol Stoddard also reported that there is a regional art collection available
to the libraries in the area and that items from this collection may be checked
out by the public.
There being no further business the meeting was cloased.
