1. CALL TO ORDER:

3.. PUBLIC COMMENT:
This time is reserved for the public to address the Historic Preservation Commission regarding concerns or
comments they would like to provide to the Commission regarding any matter, up to and including any subject on
the agenda. Out of courtesy for all who wish to speak, the Commission requests each speaker limit their comments
to three (3) minutes
4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. ACTION ITEM: Finalize adoption of short term and long-term goals. (ZP)
1. ACTION ITEM: Identification of strategy for implementing short term and long
term goals.
B. ACTION ITEM: Review Historic Preservation Brochure edits and approve for final
printing. (ZP)
C. Discussion of edits to Downtown Walking tour brochure.
D. ACTION ITEM: Historic Property plaques. Final approval of language; review of
purchasing criteria.
E. ACTION ITEM: Name determination for historic downtown designation area;
promotion ideas and costs.
F. ACTION ITEM: Review of proposal to bring forward to City Council regarding
Historic Downtown Designation. (SN)
G. ACTION ITEM: Discussion of Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) brochure. Identify
questions the Commission would like addressed. Designate someone from the
Commission to work with staff to draft document.
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Minutes of July 2, 2018.
B. Minutes of July 25, 2018.
