I.CALL TO ORDER:
2. ROLL CALL: Present: KELCH,NICKEL, OLSEN, SCOTT, STAFFORD
3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Moved by Olsen to approve January 14th minutes. Seconded by Kelch. All AYE...MOTION

B. Reports:
1.Grant applications update-Commissioner Scott
Scott stated that she is waiting for the OK from SHPO before sending out the RFP's to the historic
consultants
2.Quarterly Speakers Program-Discuss Fire Department/Museum Dedication.
Kelch reported that the Fire Department Display/Dedication was to take place on February 14, and that
Steve Gerber would be in attendance.
3. Rooster-Commissioner Nickel
Nickel stated that he thought that the commission should write a letter to City Council recommending that
the Rooster be placed in Merrill Park.
4. Heritage Conference-Sept 23-25
Scott reported that we were waiting to hear how much money we would receive from SHIPO, for the
conference.
5. Century Park/Ranch Project-Chase Farm
No report
6. May Historic Preservation Month
Commissioner Stafford is working on a walking tour to be used for the event.
Sub-Committees/Projects;
1. Website/Facebook Update-Commissioner Olsen
Olsen stated that we should go on our facebook page and"like" it as well as inviting our friends and
family to do the same.
2. Walking Tour-Commissioner Stafford
No new report as it was discussed during reports.
3. Museum Up date/CIG Commissioner Kelch,Alana
Commissioner Kelch read an email from Alana asking for all to attend the open house on February 14.
4. Pioneer Section of Dry Creek Cemetery-Commissioner Olsen

Stated that when the weather was better he and commissioner Kelch plan to go to Dry Creek cemetery.
He also stated that he would choose one pioneer to research and highlight that person on our facebook
page.
D. Miscellaneous
1.New Commissioners
Nickel stated that we were still looking for new commissioners.
2. Pictures/Bios
Commissioner Olsen stated that he still needed a bio from some of the commissioners for our face book
page.
3. Field Trip-Sheri Sharp Tour
Commissioner Scott stated that she would call to arrange the date March 11, at 4:30 with Sheri Sharp.
Commissioner Nickel said that he would look into getting the Senior bus for the tour.
New Business:
A., Discussion of Upcoming Projects,Events
It was decided that we had already covered everything.
B. Councilman Jeff Kunz Presentation of State Street/Eagle Road Intersection Stakeholders
Group. Mr. Kunz took the Commission through the process of prioritizing the different concerns for the
intersection such as safety,traffic, and implementation. The Commission then went through the exercise
and came up with the One-Way Coupl.t pett+NPpre fvr red option. It was also brought up that the Shari
Sharp property and home(Orville'qok 44vfgpn the Historic Registry.
