Roll Call: All commissioners present except Fallow.
Approval of Minutes by Nickel and seconded by Kelch
Grant applications update: Scott reported that she met with the contact at SHIPO and was
given more instructions for the Grant project,and the requirements at the end of the project.
She plans to send out RFP to the prospective historic researchers and National Historic
Nominations. It was decided that the Commission would review the RFP's and decide on which
researcher would get the project.
Quarterly Speakers Program: Nickel reported on his plans for the next speakers program. The
topic is about part of a movie that was filmed in Eagle several years ago called "Bronco Billy"
starring Clint Eastwood. Our Eagle museum has a collection of photographs taken in Eagle
during the filming.
Letter from Bill McCarrell: Mr McCarrell is asking for our assistance in establishing a history of
alcoholic beverages being sold in the location of his business/former Orville Jackson's.
New Business: Rooster/Merrill Park Project was reported on by Commissioner Scott she stated
that the Parks and Pathway had approved the Merrill rooster being placed in the small pond at
Merrill Park. No other action has taken place.
Meeting was Adjourned by Chair Thomason stating the next meeting would be on Feb 12, 2014
