that this was a practice from the previous year to inform the Commission of what's happening
at the Museum and to document those Museum accomplishments.
Recap _ Car Show: Geneva Trent and Betty Fisher explained how the car show got started
and how well the 2006 car show was attended; there was discussion on whether to do a car
show in 2007. Betty moved to do the car show as planned in 2007, Weldon seconded the
motion, and motion passed. Geneva was instructed to submit the form to United Street Rods
ofIdaho.
Budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007: Although it is too late for the Commission to approve or
disapprove the budget, it was presented by Geneva so that the members knew what was in it,
and how much had been approved by the Eagle City Council.
Arthur Hart's Book: Geneva explained why Arthur Hart is writing a book on the history of
Eagle, and Ron Baker told the Commission they were very fortunate to have Hart doing the

New Business-
Museum Exhibits: Geneva explained that the planned barn and chicken house exhibits are
not done because her sources for free labor are busy with other projects, and without a
Commission during the past months she could not hire builders. She and Betty are currently
rearranging things and creating some small temporary exhibits, planning to have them done in
time to open on Saturday as planned.
Museum Scheduling & Nametags: Geneva explained that the Commission will need to
determine what days and hours that the Museum will be open in the future so that adequate
staffing can be arranged. Jason asked if they could get a list of current Eagle Historical
Society members for potential volunteers, Geneva agreed to get that for them. Geneva also
asked about getting nametags for those people working in the Museum rather than having the
green shirts that were used last year, the consensus was that it would be a good idea.
Programs for 2007: Last year's programs were discussed, and Geneva was asked to present
more information on them at the next meeting. Ron Baker explained that if the programs were
for raising money then they can't be held in the Library's meeting room, but he would like to
host and co-sponsor an Arthur Hart program when his History of Eagle is available.
Eagle Register of Historic Sites: Geneva explained that this is a project that needs to be
completed, she showed what has been accumulated so far and told about working with Susan
Jarvis at Eagle High School on possibly having students there propose sites that should be
included. No action needed at this time - just another thing that the Commission needs to
think about.
Other: Ron Baker presented the compiled Subject Headings for Local History Pamphlet Files
that he and Geneva have been working on, explaining that we now have two collections that
complement each other. He also showed his History of Eagle that is bound and available for
research at either the Library or the Museum, and his Chronology of Eagle, Idaho.
Adjournment: There being no other business, Kay moved to adjourn, Betty seconded the
motion, and Jason adjourned the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
