THE EAGLE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION
CORRECTED MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF:
November 17,2004
Meeting was called to order by acting chairman Diane Scott at 1:10 p.m.
Commission members in attendance were Diane Scott, Geneva Trent, and Theresa
Steach.
Photos and an exhibit of old barns was discussed. A release form provided by the
City of Eagle will be used for permission to use the photographs, and Diane will ask
Weldon to get the needed forms signed for the photographs he has done. Diane also
noted that we need more photographs of local barns.
The hours of operation of the museum were discussed, noting that we probably
don't want to add mornings because there are seldom any visitors then. Terry said
she would ask the Senior Citizens again about helping to staff the museum, and
suggested that we leave the schedule like it is now and maybe get some Society
members to take turns on Saturdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
It was noted that a new sign is needed out front of the museum. Diane will ask Betty
Fisher about lettering the sandwich board sign.
Diane noted that she will purchase the power back-up/surge protector for the
computer at the museum.
The next meeting of the Commission will be on Wednesday, January 5th at 1:00 p.m.
at the Museum.
