COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF: May 21,2003
The meeting was called to order at 1 :50 pm by Geneva Trent.
Commission members in attendance were Diane Scott, Theresa Steach, Lois Kunkler, and
Geneva Trent.
Lois Kunkler moved that the minutes of March 19,2003, be approved, seconded by
Theresa ~each, and passed.
Motion to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of April 18, 2003, was made by
Theresa Steach, seconded by Diane Scott, and passed.
Diane Scott suggested that we wait until the museum re-opened to work on the Register
of Eagle's Historic Sites. A motion to that effect was made by Theresa Steach, seconded
by Lois Kunkler, and passed.

The proposed Museum Statement of Purpose & Procedure was discussed, Diane Scott
moved that we adopt it and Lois Kunkler seconded, motion passed.
The new museum exhibits and re-opening of the museum was discussed; the goal was to
have the museum open by June 1 in time for Eagle Fun Days. Theresa Steach discussed
the hours the museum should be open; it was agreed that summer hours would be Noon
to 4:00 pm for weekdays and 11:00 am to 4:00 pm for Saturdays. It was also noted that
we need to do a formal list of volunteers.
Theresa Steach also noted that cubicle walls at the Eagle Senior Center are available ifwe
want some of them for building displays.
