THE EAGLE mSTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF:
October 24, 2001
Meeting was called to order by secretary Geneva Trenlt.
Commission members in attendance were Geneva Trenlt, Maggie Jeters, and Theresa Steach.
Maggie Jeters moved to approve the minutes of August 15, 2001. Seconded by Geneva Trent,
passed unanimously.
Theresa Steach moved to table further discussion ofa Register of Eagle's Historic Sites until next
meeting when the full Commission was in attendance; motion was seconded by Maggie Jeters and
approved unanimously.
Theresa Steach moved to table further discussion of th(~ Idaho Heritage City Program until next
meeting when the full Commission was in attendance and we can have additional copies of the
guidelines available; motion was seconded by Maggie Jders and approved unanimously.
The availability of State Historic Commission Grants was discussed; Geneva Trent moved that we
look into this an pursue one for next year, Theresa Steach seconded the motion and it passed
unanimously.
It was suggested that future meetings be held at the Eagle Historical Museum since City Hall is so
crowded; Geneva Trent so moved and Theresa Steach seconded, passed.
