THE EAGLE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF:
April 18, 2001
Meeting was called to order by chairman Weldon Fisher.
Commission members in attendance were Weldon Fisher, Geneva Trent, Maggie Jeters, and Lois
Kunkler.
Lois Kunkler moved to approve the minutes of August 16, 2000. Seconded by Weldon Fisher,
passed unanimously.
Nominations for a fifth member of this commission was discussed; Geneva moved that we nominate
Theresa Steach since we can not find anyone else who will do it, seconded by Maggie Jeters, passed
unanimously.
The City's Design Review Guidelines were discussed, and the secretary will write a letter to the City
Council voicing our position.
The plans for a new City Hall were discussed; the consensus was that no response is needed from the
Commission.
The Commission discussed preparation of a Register of Historic Sites in Eagle; Lois Kunkler
volunteered to obtain more information.
Moved by Geneva Trent and Seconded by Lois Kunkler to adjourn: all Aye...Motion Carried.
