THE EAGLE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF:
August 16, 2000
Meeting was called to order at 1:15 p.m. by chairman Weldon Fisher.
Commission members in attendance were Weldon Fisher, Geneva Trent, and Lois Kunkler.
Lois Kunkler moved to approve the minutes of June 21, 2000. Seconded by Geneva Trent, passed
unanimously.
Nominations for a fifth member of this commission was discussed and tabled to the next meeting.
The City's Design Review Guidelines were discussed, and the secretary will write a letter to the City
Council voicing our position.
The CLG Grant application was discussed; we can not apply for a grant to do oral histories unless
they are focused on a specific building or place. Lois moved that we apply for a grant to inventory
the old buildings in Eagle that have not yet been done, seconded by Geneva and passed.
The Commission discussed changing meetings from every month to every other month; it was so
moved by Geneva and seconded by Lois to only meet every other month and the next Commission
meeting will be October 18, 2000.
Moved by Geneva Trent and Seconded by Lois Kunkler to adjourn: all Aye...Motion Carried.
