Guest Ann Swanson and Bert Bedeau from Idaho State Historical

could advi6e us on how and if it would be eligible for a CLG Grant. The
CLG Grant is part of the National Park Service, which is passed on to
local Government, to help do what they want. Ron Marshall said he
spoke to the original owner and he said it was Cinder Block. In 1980,
Eagle City decided it should be a "Turn of the Century" look, so the
false front was added.
To qualify for the National Registry it should be:
1. Age - in general, 50 years old. 1948 or earlier.
2. Relationship to broad trend of local history.
3. Architectural Design.
4. Structural Integrity - "be able to look at it and tell what period it is"

the front has been attered.
