THE EAGLE mSTOmC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF:
August 19, 1998
Meeting was called to order at 1:12 p.m. by acting chairman Geneva Trent.
Commission members in attendance were Lois Kunkler, Geneva Trent, and Maggie Jeters.
Moved by Kunkler and Seconded by Jeters to approve minutes of the July 22, 1998 meeting as
presented; all Aye... Motion Carried.
There was discussion about CLG grants being available for creating specific displays for a local
museum, but not for acquiring and establishing a museum. Moved by Jelers, and Seconded by
Kunkler to not apply for a CLG grant at the present time; all Aye... Motion Carried.
It was announced that the Idaho Historical Preservation Council is sponsoring a 2 day seminar on
preserving historic churches on September 10-11 at the Owyhee Plaza Hotel in Boise. More
information is available by calling 344-7186.
Moved by Jeters and Seconded by Kunkler to adjourn: all Aye...Motion Carried.
