THE EAGLl.-IISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES FROM THE MEETING ON AUGUST.27. 1997
The fifth meeting of the Eagle Preservation Commission began at 3:45 p.m.
Attending today's meeting were Audrey Plott, Linda McCloskey, Geneva Trent, Margie
Plott, Nancy Merrill and Frank Thomason, from the West Ada Express newspaper.
The minutes from the Aug.13th meeting was approved.
Geneva, spoke about Eagle Fire Dept. In October the Fire Dept. will have a open
house.
The Contennial Ordinance for the Eagle Historical Commission will have changes being
made to it on Sept.9, 1997.
Linda, will talk with Brett Bedeau, from the Idaho Historical Society and will discuss
the grants with him. Linda will discuss grants that were suggested.
Linda, talked to Albertson's about grants. We would need to get a form called 501 C3,
a non-profit form.
An announcement is in the Boise school's newsletter's, asking for volunteers for the
Eagle Historical Commission. (Idea's, ect. )
We would like to get Lila Hill as a guess speaker at are next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
NOTE: The next meeting has been changed to: Sept.20th at the City
Hall at 10:00 a.m.
