RE:
Building Setback Change Within The City Of Eagle
Dear Mayor Deckard
As a land developer in your city, I am requesting a change in
your sideyard building setbacks.
Presently your sideyard setback statute is 7.51 per floor.
This makes it extremely difficult to p1ace a two story home on
a 7500 - 8000 square foot lot.
I am requesting that you modify this sideyard setback to 51
per floor or a 101 setback for two story. This extra 10'
will allow greater architectural design flexibility and will
enhance the homes in the Eagle developments.
Your prompt attention to this matter wi1l be appreciated.
Warm1y

Mayor, City of Eagle
Councilmen, City of Eagle
Gentlemen:
This letter is a request for Annexation to the City of Eagle
a parcel of ground approximately ~ Mile East of Eagle on
the South Side of Highway 44, more completely described by
enclosed copy of Warranty Deed with the Legal Description.
The reason for the request is to have the parcel of ground
rezoned from R-L to C-2 which would enable Evans Lumber Co.
to move its Operation from the present location at the
corner of Highway 44 and Eagle Road to the new loca.ti.on
East of Eagle.
The annexation and Rezone would enable us to vacate the
conjested corner aDd to erect a more Modern Facility to
better serve the People of the Eagle area.
Thanking you for this consideration, I remain.
Very truly yours,
EvansLumber Co.

Re:
Farmers & Merchants State Bank
Dear Ms. Mendiola:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation of today, I am writing this
letter as an explanation of the plans that Farmers & Merchants
State Bank has pending. The Bank has entered into a long-term land
lease for the property immediately west of the presently-being-
constructed Sunray Dairy Drive-In located on the north side of State
Highway 44.
Under current regulations and policy of the State of Idaho Depart-
ment of Finance, we must operate a facility known as a "Customer
Bank Communications Terminal" (CBCT) prior to obtaining a permit to
operate a full branch bank. Thus, we have purchased a temporary
building manufactured by Titan Industries, which is the same size as
their 60' x 14' mobile home. This building has a front-end drive-in
window for drive-in banking, patio doors on each side of the building,
and a rear exit door.
It is our intention to operate the CBCT limited service banking fa-
cility from this building until such time as we are able to obtain
a branch banking permit from the State of Idaho Department of Finance.
At that time, we will construct a permanent bank building. It is
anticipated that we will begin operation of our CBCT not later than
September 1, 1978.
If you would like additional information, please call me at your
convenience.
