A. ZOA-2-99 - Si!!n Rellulation Amendments- Board of Directors Ea~le Chamber of
Commerce: An Ordinance Amending Eagle City Code Title 8 "Zoning", Chapter 2 "Zoning
Districts And Maps", Article A "DR Design Review Overlay District", Section 8 "Sign
Regulations"; And Section 9 "Procedures", And Providing An Effective Date. The proposed
amendments in part: would eliminate the City's prohibition of internally illuminated signs;
would allow additional and larger monument signs; would allow additional and larger wall
signs; would allow special portable signs; would provide criteria for temporary signs; would
change the Design Review procedures so only master sign plans and internally illuminated
signs would require Design Review Board approval with all other signs requiring review to
be approved by the City staff. This item was continued from the May 13, 1999 meeting. The
public hearing was closed at the April 8, 1999 meeting..
NEW BUSINESS:
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. DR-22-99 - Landscape. Dathwav and entry si!!n plan for Brookwood Subdivision -
Aries Development. LLC: Aries Development, LLC, represented by Phil Hull with The
Land Group, is requesting design review approval of the landscape, pathway and entry sign
plan for Brookwood Subdivision.
B. DR-23-99 - Retail Buildin~ within Channel Center Subdivision - B.B. One: B. B. One,
represented by Wes Steele with Habitec, is requesting design review approval to construct an
8,746-square foot retail building in Channel Center Subdivision. The 1. 13-acre site is located
north of Rivershore Lane on the west side of Eagle Road at 664 South Rivershore Lane.
C. DR-24-99 - Landscape and pathway plan for Rocky Mountain Business Park - Reid
Merrill: Reid Merrill, represented by George Transtrum with Heartland Construction, is
requesting design review approval of the landscape and pathway plan for Rocky Mountain
Business Park.
